The Mongolia Young Leaders Program (YLP) took place during March 23-24, 2009 in Washington DC, USA. The program is initiated by the Mongolian-American (MonAme) Scientific Research Center and co-organized with the Embassy of Mongolia to USA. The program is also partially sponsored by the North-America Mongolia Business Council and the Zorig Foundation USA. Nine fellows of the program are selected group of Mongolian students currently matriculated in the leading US universities. The goal of the program is to provide an opportunity for the student-fellows to meet with one another, exchange their views and opinions about present and future of democracy and development of Mongolia and to motivate the fellows to aspire to become future political, intellectual, and business leaders of Mongolia
