The Mongolian-American Scientific Research Center (the MonAme Center) is located in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The center is a policy think-tank pursuing research, training, and consulting capabilities in areas timely and relevant to Mongolia’s economic development. The MonAme Center currently focuses on issues regarding energy such as fossil-fuel based, renewable, and nuclear. The other areas of effort are in environment and sustainability, public health, and education. The MonAme Center also strives to increase and strengthen Mongolia's international cooperation in science and technology. An emphasis is given to mobilize the youth in obtaining advanced education in technical fields, sciences and engineering. |
