Brief background about MonAme:

Established in 2007, the MonAme Scientific Research Center (the MonAme Center) is located in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The MonAme Center is pursuing research and training in energy sector, including fossil-fuel based, renewable, and nuclear. Research is also conducted on environment and sustainability, public health, and education.

The MonAme Center strives to increase and strengthen Mongolia's scientific and technical capability, increase scientific collaboration within Mongolia and with researchers from other countries in the fields of science and technology. An emphasis is given as well in efforts for the Mongolian youth to obtain high quality education in technical fields, sciences and engineering.
